I managed my first project at the tender age of 5!
my story
Born in the vibrant Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic, Esther discovered her knack for strategic thinking and problem-solving at an astonishingly young age. At just 5 years old, she managed her first "project" with remarkable precision. One morning, eager to help her mother, Esther offered to make the bed while her mom was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
When her mom returned to the bedroom, she was stunned to find the bed impeccably made and the bed sheet perfectly folded at the end of the bed. How could a tiny human, less than 3 feet tall, accomplish such a task? Intrigued, her mom watched the next morning as Esther, with a methodical approach, laid the sheet flat on the floor, grabbed each corner, and meticulously walked to the other side, folding the sheet flawlessly.
This early display of innate strategic thinking and problem-solving was just the beginning. Over the years, Esther's passion for organizing, managing, and streamlining tasks grew stronger. With a hospitality management degree and over a decade of experience supporting creative businesses, she has honed her business management skills.
At the age of 6, on June of 1994, Esther migrated to the United States. This meant a new start, a new place to call home, a new culture, a new language, and many other firsts, including being bullied in school by other kids for not speaking English. Despite these challenges, Esther prevailed. She worked hard, becoming a trailblazer in her family as the first to graduate college and pursue an entrepreneurial career. Her determination to grow and become better kept her encouraged through trying times.
Esther's career has had a natural progression from working in large corporations to co-founding a business, freelancing and working independently. Her nature allows her to thrive when she can do impactful work while maintaining autonomy.
Today, Esther applies the same precision and strategic mindset from her childhood to help businesses thrive. She streamlines operations, optimizes vendor sourcing, and enhances client communications, enabling creative business owners to focus on their core work. Esther's journey from a determined little girl in the Dominican Republic to a seasoned business project management partner is a testament to her unwavering dedication and innate talent.
